1. What We Collect and Why

Uploaded Photos & Face Data

To generate anime-style portraits, users may upload selfies through the App. We do not collect or store biometric or facial data. Uploaded selfies are used only for the purpose of applying anime-style filters using AI-based image processing. Face detection may be used locally on your device or temporarily in the cloud to position filters correctly, but no facial recognition or biometric analysis is performed. We do not extract or retain any face templates or facial metrics. All selfies are deleted immediately after the filter is applied and are not stored on our servers, unless you explicitly choose to save the image to your device or in your app history (if available).

Identity & Access

If you choose to create an account or subscribe to premium features, we may collect your email address and optionally a username or display name. This is used for account access, personalization, and customer support. We do not share this information with third parties for advertising purposes.

App Usage & Analytics

We may collect anonymized usage data such as device type, operating system, app version, and feature usage. This helps us improve the app and does not include personal identifiers or image content.

2. How We Use Your Data

We only use your data to apply anime filters to selfies, improve app performance, provide customer support, and manage subscriptions (if applicable). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or image content with third parties.

3. Data Deletion & Retention

Uploaded photos are processed once and immediately deleted after the filtered image is generated. No selfies or face data are stored unless explicitly saved by the user. Account data (if applicable) can be deleted at any time upon request or through in-app settings.

4. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us at s@vestai.tech, and we will delete all associated data.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect all personal data and images during processing and transmission.
